What is the conference registration fee? What is included?

2018 Home and Community Based Services Conference registration costs:
Early Bird Rate (Register by July 1st)

Regular Rate (After July 1st):

The National HCBS Conference will be held at the Marriott Waterfront Baltimore. 

The full conference registration fee includes access to all conference intensives, workshops and general sessions, the exhibit hall, all conference lunches, and a reception on Tuesday evening.

Can I pay by check or PO?
While the site defaults to a Credit Card payment option, you can use the drop down to select pay by Check or PO as well. 

Am I invited to attend the NASUAD Fall Membership Meeting?
The NASUAD Fall meeting is intended for State Aging and Disability Commissioners, LTSS Directors, Waiver Administrators, and Senior Agency Officials ONLY. If you have questions about attendance, please contact before registering.

Where can I find my confirmation number for the HCBS Conference?
You should receive a confirmation email after registering. It will list your confirmation number as a combination of letters and numbers.

I have been selected to speak at the HCBS Conference. Will I be required to pay?
Yes. All speakers are expected to register and pay for their HCBS Conference attendance.

I am only able to attend a portion of the HCBS Conference. Do you offer a one day rate?
No, we do not offer a one day rate.

If I can no longer attend the HCBS Conference but my colleague is available, can he/she be my substitute?
Yes. You can transfer your registration to another person by emailing the request to Substitutions will be transferred at the same rate as the original registration. Substitutions are permitted until the pre-registration deadline of July 27th, 2018.

I need to cancel my registration. What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise that may prevent you from attending the conference. Registration cancellation requests must be made in writing to by July 27th, 2018.Those requests received by the deadline will be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee. Unfortunately, no refunds will be given for cancellations received after July 27th, 2018.

Are there any academic credits available for the HCBS Conference?
There are no CEUs offered at the conference.

I have some dietary restrictions/accessibility needs. How do I inform the conference planners?
You will be able to enter any dietary restrictions or information about accessibility needs during the registration process. A member of our team will reach out to assist you, as needed.
